Ahhhh fresh new year smell with a nice new system board in my laptop. There is a vaguely concerning rattle that I may have to have looked at. This ought to be the last of Christmas-themed comics unless I resurrect some of the discards from the holidays.
I am testing out a new idea this year. I have decided to drink naught but water. No pop or juice, just water (and let me tell you, the giant jug of cider in the fridge is mocking my decision). I am mostly interested to see what it does as far as weight goes.

For reals? How about Perrier, does that count? If you don’t like it now, my wager is that by the end of the year you will be pretty open to it, if not loving it!
My plan is to stick to tap water. I’m skipping all additives etc. including carbon dioxide (apart from the amount that occurs in tap water which is not a whole lot).
interesting….although you don’t really have weight you need to lose do you?
My guess is this: the first few weeks, your body may take its time adjusting and you could shed a few pounds, but after that your body would adjust to the reduced caloric intake and your metabolism would just slow down to compensate.
That said, it is probably still good for you to drink water – so long as you still eat your veggies
Good job Adam. I couldn’t drink only tap water from your city… it tastes.
