I’ve found that any time I go into a real, legitimate art supply store (ie. anything nicer than Michaels) I get embarrassed and flustered and don’t buy anything because I feel like I am in some way faking it. Also in New York we saw a foot-wide paintbrush that cost $600. Did not buy that.
