True life comics again! Also I changed the name of the comic (again) because The Department of Bespoke Illustration is way, wayyyyyy too long. I also registered www.peticanoe.com which, right now, redirects here but will eventually be the comic and www.asandiford.com will be more professional/portfolio-y. Fascinating news!
I will be tucking my tail between my legs and going back to the appliance parts store tomorrow and shelling out big bucks for a second time. I have not been having a good month of appliances. On the plus side, our broken mower is going to be fixed for free AND we got some free potato salad. Every cloud, silver lining, wind beneath wings, etc.
This was the 6000th picture taken by our camera in only about 5 years. I also made a spelling mistake and the first person to find it gets a hundred points.
I got a very good deal through dreamhost for my space here. $26 or something for two years, including domain. I doubt it’s still on but I used promo code 220 when I was signing up. I was originally going to register iamlocutusofb.org but I screwed up. I own the domain now but I don’t think there’s any way of transferring it to this account, which is probably just as well.
I used the ‘one-click’ installer to set up this space. It was very, very easy but it means I have almost no control over the themes. I’m not crazy for the one I have on now (wp-glass) and I’ll probably change it 7 or 8 more times before I settle on something or decide that I will move this onto a fully customizable theme. Time will tell.
