Today is “Adam recommends a podcast” day. I suggest A Nerd of Advice. It’s by two very knowledgeable nerds, Holly (who works for Topatoco) and Sara (who makes a comic called Hey Pais which is about cats) and the episodes I’ve heard so far cover How to Behave at Comic Conventions (And Other Conventions, paper salesmen, they’re looking at you) and Professionalism. Please be advised: They swear some but the advice is really solid and you should give it a listen.
