a series of pointless answers

Richard Maddeaux sent me this and I figured here was a good place to go through it.  Additionally, I should really have just re-posted his answers because they are much funnier than mine.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? To the best of my knowledge, my parents chose our names because they liked them.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Either watching House or at church on a Sunday night.  I can’t remember.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? After a really solid two weeks of practicing, my cursive became not only legible but pleasant.  Next step: fix my calligraphy.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Turkey?  I guess?

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Not officially.  Dominic calls me Dad every now and again.

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Goodness, no.  I’m incredibly irritating, even to myself. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

A new age?

Obama is certainly quite the orator. I hope that his policies are as solid as his rhetoric. I’m going to hold off on judgement of the new administration until they do something other than get into power. I’m 100% in favour of somebody replacing former president Bush. I think he was bad for the world in general. I’m not as sold on the new guys being that much better, yet. More power to Obama for gaining the presidency. I really would like to see him do something great with it.

The National Weather Service is paranoid

Out of mild curiosity, I checked the national weather service site to see what the forecast is for DC for tomorrow. I was greeted with this:

paranoid much
